Welcome brave warrior!

Long ago, our ancestors discovered the magical connection between words and combat. Now, the kingdom of Wordia is under attack, and hordes of evil creatures are coming.

Your typing skills are our only hope, as these creatures are vulnerable to the power of words. The faster you type, the more damage you will deal.  This is known and this knowledge has been passed down through generations of warrior-typists.

Now go, help us defend the kingdom!

Aww this intro and the story was really cute and a cool spin on the word is mightier than the sword!
Some points to consider:
- make it more apparent that the round started (with a count down maybe)

- make it clearer where the word is you need to type. in my first round, I was actually looking for the word and by pure accident saw it (I know it is in the middle of the screen but you are naturally looking at the different elements of the scene especially in the first run)
- the music for the combat. the cute and whimsical music works for the story and the beginning, having something that has a higher intensity and bpm could help with making it more dramatic.

overall, very fun and engaging! I really loved it!

I should have done more testing with a bigger group of people. Lesson learned and I took note! Thank you so much for the valuable and detailed feedback!

Use the feedback from all the ppl now to iterate on the game and make it better. ;)

Would have liked it better if the enemies were easier to see (I was continuously looking upwards, at the word) but the gameplay was more engaginthan I expected!

Thank you for your feedback, I definitely could make them a little bigger - I was just too used to it to even notice!

Thank you! :)

Very fun and addicting. I remember playing games like this when I was younger, in a "class" in school learning to touch type. All I can ask for is more, though I'm a sucker for rouge-likes, so a progression system would be fun.

All in all, great game

Thank you for your comment and I am glad I could bring those good memories! That was the initial idea, but I ran out of time. Btw, that’s a great score!
